The members of the Anchorage Amateur Radio Club provide communications and logistics support for a number of events throughout the year, including the Anchorage Fur Rendevous World Championship Sled Dog Race (February), the Iditarod Anchorage-Nome Sled Dog Race (March), the Anchorage Walk for Hope (May), Mayor's Marathon to celebrate the Summer Solstice (June) and numerous other events including participation and a booth at the ALASKA STATE FAIR each August.
